Woman brutally murders 3 yr-old girl in Odisha

In a gruesome incident, a young woman has brutally murdered a three-year-old to take revenge from the girl’s father because of past enmity in Kamparakala village under Palahada police station in Angul district of Odisha.

The accused Ranga Sahu (24) was in love with a village youth. They had decided to get married. But Dhir Sahu, a localite had stopped the affair and was instrumental in getting her boyfriend marry another girl. Ranga had kept a grudge against Sahu and was on a look out for taking revenge.

On Monday morning when Sahu’s three year-old daughter had gone to the Anganwadi, Ranga lured the child to her house and killed her with a sharp vegetable cutter. She had later wrapped the body in a cloth and thrown it under a bridge just 10 meters away from her  home.

When the child did not return home, Sahu’s family started searching for the little girl. They later registered a missing complaint at the Palahada police station.

Police search team found blood spots in Ranga’s house and after questioning her, she agreed to the murder. Her mother and brother have been detained by police for further questioning.
