Woman found dead with throat slit in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela, Sep 8:
A woman was found dead with her throat slit at Bank Colony near Chhend in Odisha’s Rourkela last night. The deceased was identified as Janaki Oram, wife of a bank employee.

A 15-day-old baby girl of the woman was rescued and admitted to hospital, sources said.
According to reports, Janaki’s husband Kamal Kishore Oram went to bank after having lunch at home in the afternoon. After returning home at night, he found his wife dead and informed the police about it.
Police have started investigation into the incident. The reason behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.
