Woman found hanging at school in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A woman was found hanging at Basantapura School under Ghasipura block of Odisha’s Keonjhar district, today.

The deceased was identified as Basanti Jena (45) of Toraniapala.

According to reports, locals spotted the body at the school in a hanging state this morning and informed the police.

Cops have recovered the body and sent it to the Anandapur Hospital for post-mortem.

Though the reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, her family members alleged that she was murdered.
