Woman hacked, robbed of valuables at house in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A woman in Bhubaneswar has been critically injured in an attack by two miscreants at her house today afternoon. The injured woman, Gitanjali Paltasingh is undergoing treatment at the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Her family members said two miscreants barged into the woman’s house at Lane-4 of Jagannath Nagar this afternoon. With the help of sharp weapons, the miscreants hacked the woman injuring her grievously at her house.

Later the two miscreants decamped with the woman’s gold jewellery and mobile phone.

Many raised concern over the attack on the woman and robbery from her as the incident occurred in broad daylight in the heart of Bhubaneswar city.
