Woman killed for intervening in quarrel in Odisha

Intervening in a quarrel between two youths turned fatal for a woman as she was allegedly killed by one of them.
The shocking incident took place at Sanaraxi village under K Balanga police limits in Sundargarh district of Odisha late last night.
According to reports, one of the youths thrashed the woman, identified as Sumitra Rai (40), to death for intervening in their dispute.
The accused went absconding after committing the crime, sources said.
On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the body and started investigation into the incident.
