Woman levels harassment charges against Odisha MLA

A woman today levelled mental harassment charges against Odisha’s ruling party MLA from Barabati-Cuttack constituency Debashish Samantaray.

The complainant– Sikha Samantaray– identifying herself as the sister-in-law of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) legislator Debashish Samantaray today filed a complaint with State Commission for Women in which she alleged that the latter is subjecting her to mental harassment.
“My husband is ailing for which I need money. He is not giving money for my husband’s treatment. Moreover, he is forcing us to get out of the house,” Sikha Samantaray alleged.
I have a threat to my life, she added.
Debashish Samantaray was unavailable for comments.
