Women ransack country liquor shop in Odisha’s Sambalpur

A group of women ransacked a country liquor shop at Kandeipada in Odisha’s Sambalpur district today.

According to reports, the women had held a meeting 15 days ago where they had decided for closure of the shop alleging disturbance in their families due to sale of the country liquor in the locality.

They recahed at the shop this morning and smashed earthen pots containing handia.
