Works dept official arrested for taking bribe in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela, Feb 17:

An official of Works department was today arrested by Odisha Vigilance sleuths in Rourkela for allegedly receiving bribe from a contractor.

The arrested was identified as Subhash Chandra Dash, a cashier at Works department office in the steel city.

According to reports, Dash was caught red-handed by Vigilance officials while he was receiving Rs 1,500 from Raghu Narayan Bhuyan to return him a security amount of Rs 41,000.
