XIM to open second campus in Rourkela, Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 4: In a boost to quality education in Odisha, Xavier Institute of Management will open its second campus in Rourkela.

The chief minister Naveen Patnaik has given an in-principal approval for the second campus in the state. XIM first campus is located in Bhubaneswar. Rourkela Steel Plant and the state government have assured the premier management B-School in the country all possible support in setting up the educational institution. The management will have an annual student intake of 250-300.

The institute will have reservations for state students in admissions, according to reports.

XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar), a 28 year-old premier world class B-School in the country turned into Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) with the Government of Odisha passing the Xavier University Act in June 2013.
