Young lawyer from Odisha tops Supreme Court AOR exam

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: A young lawyer from Odisha Dhananjaya Mishra secured first rank in Supreme Court Advocate On Record (AOR) examination.

The results of AOR examination, which was held in June last year, were released on Supreme Court website last month.

While Dhananjaya Mishra topped the examination, Sumeer Sodhi from ILS, Pune was ranked second.

Although, Neha Malik from VIPS, Delhi and Dhananjaya scored same marks, she could not be considered as the topper because it was her second attempt to clear the exam. Last time, she could not clear one of the papers.

125 lawyers have cleared the competitive exam out of total 700 candidates.

After completing LLB from NALSAR University of Law in the year 2010, Dhananjaya joined LLM course in Cambridge University. Later, he practiced law under senior counsel Ashok Parija in the Supreme Court.
