Youth bludgeoned to death in Odisha’s Ganjam

A man was today bludgeoned to death in Sunapalli village under Dharakote block in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

According to reports, a group of people dragged the deceased identified as Bulu Prusty out of his house and beat him to death.

While the reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected to be a fallout of past enmity among them.

The victim was admitted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

Notably, the deceased has a criminal antecedent and several criminal cases are pending against him.

Meanwhile, Tarasingi police have begun an investigation into the incident.
