Youth found dead on roadside in Odisha’s Boudh, murder suspected

Boudh: Body of a youth was found on roadside near Jhikerpali village under Manamunda police limits in Odisha’s Boudh district today.

The deceased has been identified as Achyuta Suna of Kundamal village. Locals spotted the body this morning and informed the police about the death.

Though the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he was murdered as the body bore injury marks on head.

The body has been recovered and sent for post-mortem. Investigation into the matter is underway to ascertain the circumstances which led to his death, a police official said. A motorcycle, which was found near the body, has been seized.

Notably, Achyuta had gone to Palasagor village last evening and didn’t return home.
