Youth held for sexually abusing minor in Odisha capital

A youth was arrested yesterday for allegedly abducting and sexually abusing a minor girl in Odisha capital.
The accused was identified as Lipun Moharana (19) of Nirankarinagar area of Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Lipun had abducted a minor, a resident of Janata Nagar area in Salia Sahi, from her home in January. He stayed with her for some days outside the city. Later, he absconded leaving the girl alone in Salia Sahi.
A complaint had been lodged with the Nayapalli police station by the victim’s family alleging sexual abuse.
Police arrested the accused following raid at his house.
