Youth’s body found in nullah in Balsore; murder suspected   

Balasore: A mutilated body of a youth was found in a nullah near a bridge at Budagadia village under Khaira police station in Balasore district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Lambu Hembram of Kolipada village under Govindapur gram panchayat in the district.

Sources said some locals first spotted the body floating in the nullah and called up fire brigade officials. A firefighting team later reached the spot and rushed the youth to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that some miscreants have killed the youth.

Police said the body has been sent for autopsy and the investigation process would be expedited after the post-mortem report.
