Youth’s decomposed body found in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Sundargarh, Mar 14:

Police today recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified youth from an abandoned house at Deobhuwanpur  village in Odisha’s Sundargarh district.

Sources said some people of Deobhuwanpur village noticed stench smell from an abandoned house this morning. On opening the front door of the house, they found a partially decomposed  body of a youth. Following information, Kinjrikela police led by Sub Inspector Bideshi Bag arrived at the village in the afternoon with a scientific team and a local magistrate.

The deceased was wearing a jeans pants and a T-shirt with his face beyond recognition.
Police seized three liquor pouches lying near the body.

Police suspect that the youth might have been killed about 3-4 days ago.

The body was later seized and taken to the hospital for post mortem.

“We have registered an unnatural death case and are now investigating to ascertain the identity of the youth”, the SI told OST.
