Blood Donation camp at Balasore

T Narayana Rao, DPM, NHM, Balasore & Dr. Charubala Rath, CDMO, Balasore were present in this camp. More 400 people participated in this FRP and blood donation camp.

FRP is a life saving technique that a non-doctor or a lay person can perform with minimal equipment and provide aid in emergencies till more advanced care is made available to the victim. In the event of a traumatic or medical emergency, in the minutes before an ambulance or medical help arrives, it is the person near the victim who can help in saving life. In most cases people want to help but do not know how to and might even complicate the situation further by providing incorrect/wrong assistance to the victim. So to educate non-doctors or lay men, Ziqitza Health Care Ltd. (ZHL) has been organizing such programmes in different locations in the state.

ZHL is entrusted with the operations of 420 Ambulances spread across 30 districts by Govt. of Odisha .
