1 dead, 2 critical in explosion at cracker unit in Odisha’s Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: A man was killed and two others were critically injured in an explosion at an illegal firecracker manufacturing unit in Ganjam district of Odisha today.

The incident took place when some people were manufacturing crackers illegally for the upcoming Diwali festival at Jagat Sahi under Beguniapada police limits in Ganjam.

The injured persons were rushed to hospitals at Kodala and Khallikot in the district.
