A jeep fell into a trench near Chandragiri in Mohana block of Odisha's Gajapati district today killing a person and injuring 19 passengers.

According to reports, the road mishap took place when the victims were travelling in the ill-fated vehicle from Kandhadaba to Kidasingh for marketing from a weekly market.
The driver of the jeep lost control over the wheels following which it fell into a trench which was dug for laying telephone cables.
The injured have been admitted to Chandragiri hospital.
