1-yr-old boy among 21 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Bhubaneswar

Bubaneswar:  The state capital today reported  21 fresh COVID-19 cases, including five local contacts. With this, the tally mounted to 1252 , informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

The five local contacts include a 46-year-old male employee of a private hospital,  and a 40-year-old male and 35-year-old female of a family in Chandaka area near LV Prasad Eye Hospital. The 16 quarantine cases include a 1-year-old boy and 24-year-old female of same family in Kalinga Nagar with travel history of Mumbai.

Currently, the number of active cases in Bhubaneswar stands at 614 while 625 patients have recovered from the disease. However, 11 patients have succumbed to the virus in the city so far.
