10 injured, two critical as bus turns turtle in Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh:  As many as 10 passengers were injured and two sustained critical injuries after a private bus they were  travelling in turned turtle near Panchupandav area under Nuagaon police limits in Nayagarh district in wee hours  today.

According to sources,  a Phulbani-bound bus carrying around 60 passengers was travelling from Bhubaneswar. The incident took place after bus driver  lost control over it and the vehicle hit an electric pole.

While 10 passengers were wounded, two passengers received serious injuries in the mishap.

After receiving information, Nuagoan and Daspalla police along with the fire service personnel  reached the spot and rescued the injured passengers and shifted them to Nuagaon Community Health Centre(CHC) for treatment.
