10 more die of COVID-19 in Odisha; toll breaches 400-mark

Bhubaneswar: Another ten persons infected with COVID-19 died due to the deadly virus in Odisha in the last 24 hours breaching 400-mark, informed State dashboard today.

“Regret to inform of the demise of ten Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” the State Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department tweeted.

The deaths were reported from six districts. Ganjam district registered the highest number 3 death cases in a day followed by Cuttack (2) and Rayagada (2) districts. One each died of coronavirus in Balangir, Gajapati and Nayagarh districts.

With the new deaths, the toll climbed to 409 in Odisha.

Here’re details of fresh deaths reported in the last 24 hours:

1.A 47 year old male of Bolangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

2. A 87 year old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Hypertension, Old Cerebro Vasular Accident.

3.A 75 year old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Kidney Disease & Old Cerebro Vasular Accident.

4.A 45 year old male of Gajapati district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

5.A 60 year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease .

6.A 61 year old male of Ganjam district.

7.A 70 year old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes, morbid obesity.

8.A 58 year old male of Nayagarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

9. A 56 year old male of Rayagada district.

10. A 45 year old male of Rayagada district.
