10 quintal ganja seized in Bhubaneswar; one held

Bhubaneswar: Excise department today apprehended one person and seized 10 quintal ganja from a rented house during raid near Kolathia area in Bhubaneswar.

The accused was identified as Subal Samantray of Balasore district.

According to reports, Subal was allegedly smuggling the ganja illegally to various places from the rented house. Acting on a tip-off, a team of excise officials raided a duplex building near Kolathia area and seized the contraband item worth around Rs 50 lakh from the house.
