Bhubaneswar: A 102-year-old woman among 17 more persons succumbed to the Coronavirus in Odisha, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.
The deceased woman belongs to Bhubaneswar.
The State registered 17 more fatalities due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, of which five were females including a 12-year girl. They succumbed to the deadly virus while undergoing treatment at different COVID hospitals.
“Regret to inform the demise of seventeen #COVID19 positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” the State H&FW stated.
With 17 new deaths, the toll due to the COVID-19 rose to 1,527 in Odisha.
As per H&FW data, the fresh deaths were reported from 7 districts. While the virus claimed 4 each in Khordha and Sundargarh districts in a single day, 3 more died in Bargarh and Sambalpur districts. One each succumbed to the virus in Boudh, Dhenkanal and Kalahandi districts.

2.A 58-year-old female of Bargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
3.A 64-year-old male of Bargarh district
4.A 12-year-old girl of Boudh district.
5.A 63-year-old male of Bhubaneswar.
6.A 102-year-old female of Bhubaneswar.
7.A 73-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension with CVA.
8.A 60-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus with Coronary Artery Disease & had undergone CABG.
9.A 50-year-old male of Dhenkanal district.
10.A 60-year-old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
11.A 53-year-old female of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Oral Cancer.
12.A 63-year-old male of Sambalpur district.
13.A 58-year-old male of Sambalpur district.
14.A 55-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from CKD.
15.A 28-year-old female of Sundargarh district.
16.A 36-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
17.A 79-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
