10635 new COVID cases detected in Odisha; Khurda logs 1564 fresh infections

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 10635 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as the tally in the state mounted to 534842, official sources said today.

A total of 48757 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.

Khurda registered the highest number of fresh infections as 1564 more persons in the district contracted the virus. With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 93287.

As many as 19 COVID-related deaths were also reported in Odisha in the last 24 hours as the toll surged to 2180.
