11 injured in group clash in Odisha’s Ganjam; 10 detained    

Berhampur: Tension ran high at Tadadapalli village under Golanthara police limits in Ganjam district this morning after 11 persons were injured, including three critically, in bomb explosion following a group clash in the locality.

The eight injured have been admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for treatment.

On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and took control over the situation. The cops also arrested 10 persons from both the groups, sources said.

Police said the group clash was a fallout of previous enmity.

Meanwhile, police personnel have been deployed in the village to avoid any further untoward incidents and maintain law and order.
