11 Odisha districts likely to experience thunderstorm today

Bhubaneswar: As many as 11 districts of Odisha have been issued thunderstorm warnings today, as predicted by the latest weather bulletin.

Parts of Angul, Baragarh, Boudh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Sambalpur and Sundergarh will witness moderate thunderstorm with lightning.

According to the forecast of Regional Meteorological Centre, light to moderate rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph may also occur in these areas.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm today.
