11 passengers test Covid positive at Odisha’s BPIA airport

Bhubaneswar: As many as 313 passengers were tested today at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. Sources said passengers from seven flights were tested upon their arrival at the airport.

A total of 11 passengers from Mumbai and Pune were found to be Covid positive.

Similarly, three Covid positive cases were detected at the Bhubaneswar railway station during health screening. Source said the positive cases were shifted to SUM Hospital.

After spike in positive cases in other parts of the country, the State government made thermal screening of passengers at railway stations and airports mandatory.
