11 students of another university in Odisha test COVID-19 positive

Sambalpur: With various educational institutions across the state reporting COVID-19 cases, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT) in Burla here has become the latest to join the list.

SUIIT Vice-Chancellor today  informed that 11 students from the educational institute  have contracted COVID-19.  All the infectees have been kept under isolation.

All precautionary measures, including sanitization, are being taken up to curb spread of the virus in the campus, said an official.

Yesterday, one positive case was reported from Gangadhar Meher (GM) University here. A girl student of the varsity has tested positive for the virus.
