Bhubaneswar: As many as 82 more persons in Odisha contracted COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,35,548.
However, one covid patient also succumbed to the deadly virus.
Regret to inform the demise of 85 years old female Covid positive patient of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 20 districts, 49 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 33 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 15 fresh cases followed by Angul (9) and Sambalpur (7).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 853 and recovered cases at 3,32,733.
