Malkangiri: A 12-feet-long python was rescued from the kitchen of a house in Khairput area of Odisha's Malkangiri district today.

On spotting the snake inside the house of Hari Pradhan, his family members informed the locals. With the help of a snake charmer, they brought the reptile out of the house.

Later, Forest department officials reached the spot and rescued the animal. The python was then released safely into a nearby forest.
