12-hour bandh hits life in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Normal life has been affected in Dhenkanal after Nagarik Kriyanusthan Committee resorted to a 12-hour bandh in the town demanding City Hospital status to the old hospital at Baji Chhak here.

As part of the protest, the activists are staging road blockades and picketing at different places of the town disrupting vehicular movements. Besides, shops and other business establishments have remained closed due to the protest.

Several organizations, journalists, lawyers and traders have extended their support to the shutdown.
