Bhadrak: The Odisha government today set up a 120-bed standalone COVID-19 hospital in partnership NTPC in Bhadrak. The COVID-19 hospital was established in the premises of Bhadrak district headquarters hospital.
Sources said the new COVID-19 hospital has four ICUs equipped with ventilator. The government will bear all the expenses of COVID-19 patients at the hospital including treatment and food expenses.
Adequate number of doctors and paramedics have been engaged at the new COVID-19 hospital that will be managed Salandi Hospitals, the sources added.
Earlier, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had directed officials to set up COVID-19 hospitals in all the districts.
