13 Covid warriors among 114 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha’s Cuttack city

Cuttack: Another 13 Covid warriors were among the fresh 114 COVID-19 positive cases detected in Cuttack City today. As per the data released by the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), three Covid warriors from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital tested positive for the deadly virus in last 24 hours while being in institutional quarantine.

This apart, nine police personnel from the Cuttack city tested COVID-19 positive. The data further mentioned a 48-year-old male Covid warrior from Cantonment Road in the city was also detected as a positive case.

A total of 34 persons from institutional quarantine centres tested positive for COVID-19 whereas 47 persons, who were in home quarantine, were detected as coronavirus positive cases in the city.

Of the total fresh COVID-19 cases, as many as 33 persons were local contact cases.
