13 rooms gutted as fire breaks out in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: As many as 13 rooms were reduced to ashes after a major fire broke out at Matiasahi village under Bhuban block in Dhenkanal district late last night.

Sources said five families were rendered homeless in the fire mishap.Thirteen rooms of Dhanu Pradhan, Sarat Pradhan, Kartik Pradhan, Narayan Pradhan and Biswanath Pradhan were gutted in the fire.

Though no casualty or injuries were reported, property worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the mishap. However, the cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. On receiving information, fire officials reached the spot and doused the flames.
