13-YO boy, 5 corona warriors among 16 test COVID-19 positive in Cuttack city

Cuttack: Sixteen persons in Cuttack city (CMC area) tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the total count to 229. Total 55 case were reported from the district today.

The 16 fresh cases include five corona warriors and a 13-year-old boy.

With the new cases, the number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 195. However, 32 persons have recovered from the disease and two succumbed to the virus.

Active surveillance, contact tracing, and sanitization drive in the concerned areas are underway, said the CMC.
