1379 new COVID cases in Odisha; Sundargarh reports highest infections

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1379 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha during the last 24 hours, official sources said today.

Out of the 1379 fresh cases, 808 were detected in quarantine while 571 are local contact cases.

Sundargarh reported the highest number of cases with 317 new infections, followed by Khordha with 158 cases.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state mounted to 349561 with 7979 active cases.
