As many as 14 auto-rickshaws have been permitted to ply during night curfew in Odisha's Bhadrak town to ferry persons from railway station here, informed SP Anup Kumar Sahoo today.

The decision comes as a slight breather for denizens of Bhadrak town, which was on boil after some inflammatory posts were posted on social networking site leading to tension between two communities.

Meanwhile, the district administration today relaxed curfew for 16 hours from 5 am to 9 pm.
