14 cattle killed as pickup truck overturns in Odisha’s Angul

Angul: At least 14 cattle died after a pickup truck carrying the animals overturned near Antulia in Athmallik area of Odisha’s Angul district, today.

The mishap took place when the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels, following which it skidded off the road and turned turtle.

Locals have rescued five cattle while driver and helper of the pickup truck absconded after the accident. It is being alleged that the animals were illegally transported in the vehicle.
