Bhubaneswar: As part of its crackdown on ganja smuggling, Commissionerate Police today seized 14 kg cannabis from two expensive cars here and arrested two persons in this connection.

Sources said the contraband item was being smuggled to  Bhubaneswar from Kandhamal via Berhampur. Acting on a tip-off, the Commissionerate Police conducted a raid and intercepted two cars-Vento and Venue- near Bankuala . When the two occupants failed to produce documents supporting possession of contraband item, the cops seized the ganja weighing around 14 kg along with the cars

Police are further interrogating the accused duo in connection with the incident.
