Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload today further surged to 3,33,866 after 143 new infections were detected in the state in last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 23 districts, 84 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 59 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Puri recorded highest 23 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (17) and Sambalpur (16).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 1,589 and recovered cases at 3,30,321.
