Bhubaneswar: As many as 1470 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state's cumulative caseload further surged to 2,90,116.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 853 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 617 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 170 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (126) and Sundargarh (112).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 14,905 and recovered cases at 2,73,838.
