149 more COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The number of patients recovered from COVID-19 infection increased to 5,502 in Odisha after another 149 persons cured of the deadly disease today.

Official sources said the fresh recovery cases are being discharged from the hospital after they tested negative for the virus.

The maximum number of 49 patients from Ganjam district cured of the disease today.

As many as 24 patients from Khordha, 14 from Mayurbhanj, 13 from Cuttack and six each from Kalahandi and Kendrapara districts recovered.

Five from Rayagada, four each from Angul, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts and three each from Bolangir, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Puri districts cured of the infection.

Two each from Balasore, Jagatsinghpur and Nayagarh districts and one each from Baragarh and Koraput districts recovered in past 24 hours.
