15 more die of COVID-19 in Odisha; toll up at 1,425

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll mounted to 1,425 in Odisha after 15 more persons infected with the virus died in the last 24 hours.

“Regret to inform the demise of Fifteen Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh deaths were reported from 9 districts. While 3 more succumbed to COVID-19 in Khordha district in a single day, another 3 died in Sambalpur district. The virus claimed 2 each in Bargarh and Balangir districts. One each died in Cuttack, Deogarh, Ganjam, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts in the last 24 hours.

1.A 70-year-old male of Bargarh district.

2.A 34-year-old male of Bargarh district.

3.A 39-year-old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

4.A 45-year-old male of Balangir district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

5.A 59-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

6.A 62-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, CVA & CKD.

7.A 86-year-old male of Cuttack district.

8.A 68-year-old male of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

9.A 62-year-old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

10.A 77-year-old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

11.A 65-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from CVA post PTCA & Hypertension.

12.A 72-year-old male of Sambalpur district.

13.A 65-year-old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

14.A 63-year-old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

15.A 50-year-old male of Sundargarh district.
