15 more succumb to COVID-19 in Odisha; toll breaches 1500-mark

Bhubaneswar:  The COVID-19 toll breached 1500-mark in Odisha with death of 15 more patients in the last 24 hours.

“Regret to inform the demise of fifteen #COVID19 positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

With new deaths, the total number of fatalities due to COVID-19 rose to 1,510.

The fresh deaths were reported from 7 districts. Of 15 death cases, Sundargarh district registered the highest of 5 deaths followed by Khordha district with 4 and Mayurbhanj district with 2. Each one died in Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal and Puri districts in a single day.

Here’re details of 15 new COVID-19 deaths in Odisha:

1.A 60-year-old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2.A 72-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & COPD.

3.An 85-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension.

4.A 53-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

5.A 48-year-old male of Jagatsinghpur district.

6.A 75-year-old male of Kandhamal district.

7.A 60-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus

8.A 50-year-old female of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

9.A 65-year-old female of Mayurbhanj district.

10.A 74-year-old female of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

11.A 76-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & CHD.

12.A 72-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Anaemia & SCD.

13.A 57-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus,

14.A 68-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

15.A 65-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension & CKD.
