153 more COVID patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 153 more COVID-19 patients tested negative for the virus and recovered from the disease, official sources said today.

Out of the 153 persons, 43 are from Cuttack, 21 from Jagatsinghpur, 18 from Kandhamal, 12 from Khurdha, 11 from Bhadrak, 9 from Gajapati, 7 from Kalahandi, 5 each from Balasore, Deogarh, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh, 2 each from Balangir, Jharsuguda and Nayagarh, and 1 from Koraput, sources said, adding that they are being discharged from COVID hospitals.

With this, the number of recovered cases in the state surged to 3200. Earlier in the say, Odisha had reported 165 new COVID cases.
