1540 fresh COVID-19 cases in Odisha; here're district-wise details

Bhubaneswar:  As many as 1540 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state's cumulative caseload further surged to 2,85,482.

Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 886 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 654 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Khordha recorded highest 208 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh (111) and Angul (100).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 16,030 and recovered cases at 2,68,115.
