172 dental surgeons appointed for State-run hospitals in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: State government today appointed 172 dental surgeons on recommendation of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) to provide better dental care services at various state-run hospitals.

Of total 172, 106 are female and 66 are male dental surgeons. They were asked to join duty within 30 days of issue of the notification from today.

The dental surgeons were appointed in the junior rank of Group A of Odisha Medical and Health Services (Dental) cadre under the Health and Family Welfare Department at pay scale of Rs 56,100 (as per the 7th pay commission) and other allowances sanctioned by the government.
