Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar reported 19 new COVID-19 positive cases in last 24 hours, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.

Of fresh cases, 9 cases have been detected from quarantine centres and 8 are local contacts. Remaining 2 are the COVID warriors with a travel history to other district.

With this, the tally in Bhubaneswar rose to 433 with 156 active cases so far.

Meanwhile, 23 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours in the city. With 23 recoveries, the number of recovered cases now reach 270. However, 6 patients have succumbed to the deadly virus in the city.
