+2 First Year classes start in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Classes for +2 First Year students for 2022-23 academic session started at higher secondary schools across Odisha, today.

Initially, induction classes will be held till September 24. The higher secondary schools have been asked by the state government to conduct separate stream-wise induction classes.

Around 3.7 lakh students have taken admission in the first year, so far.

However, form fill up in the second phase will continue till September 27 to fill the vacant seats.

The merit list for the second phase will be published on October 1 while the admission will take place between October 11 and 13. The admission process will be over by October 22.

The seat strength for this year is around 5.07 lakh.
