2 killed, 15 injured as van overturns in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, at least two persons died and 15 others sustained injuries as the van in which they were travelling overturned near Balani Police Base Camp in Odisha’s Keonjhar district, today.

The victims, hailing from Kiriburu village, were returning home in the van after a cremation and the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels, following which it turned turtle. Two of them were crushed to death inside the damaged van.

While ten of the injured ones were admitted to the Barbil hospital, five are undergoing treatment at the Kiriburu hospital.
